There's also a kind of AI-fuelled job sterility: being stuck in a job you don't like and that doesn't use your actual skills bc the jobs in the career you trained for have shrivelled up. Bc the boss you don't have was convinced that AI means that job isn't worth doing anymore. So hiring freeze.

Yeah, same here. I'm not going to stop using em dashes, or, like, sentences. I will not introduce deliberate mistakes (I make enough anyway). I'm not going to participate in any snake-oil 'human certification' schemes. AI is like eating broken glass: it's not something tempting I have to resist.
