NC kid turned suburban Boston dad. If you found me through my delightful political commentary, sorry about the hockey skeets. Go Canes. If you found me from my delightful hockey skeets, I hate fascism and say so a lot. Skeeting into the void since 2023.

Somewhere between the 2024 election and the 2025 inauguration, right wing weirdos were led to Romans 13:1 and have used that as the bootlickers' creed as if they were gladly willing to give, say, Joe Biden or Barack Obama the same deference they demand for their dipshit president.

So we have 30 days to comply with some bullshit a contractor made up or my HOA won't have insurance, which I know from experience will also not be renewed if we ever use. Insurance is the biggest scam in the fucking world.

I am begging Mamdani, who seems to be doing great, to stop trying to explain Democratic Socialism to people who will never allow themselves to hear the word socialism without freaking out. Just do good policy and quietly know that, yes, the good policy is socialism.

I worked at Disney a while ago. Do you know why theme parks are so safe? Because OOSHA reps can walk the track on any ride at any time and any safety violation they see is a $10,000 fine. Each. Theme parks are not safe because the company cares. They're safe because it's cheaper to comply.

Turns out that food companies were only checking their food because the government told them to, which is exactly why we need government regulations.

Of course we all know what would happen if this person wasn’t a white Christian, but also, this kind of proselytizing is not about converting or even delivering a message to anyone. It’s a self-aggrandizing act of domination. It’s an actual sin of vanity.

Evangelist Whitney Lynn says she preaches on planes because she loves “a captive audience.” She's not alone. It's becoming a trend. If spreading your message requires listeners who can't escape, maybe it's not as compelling as you think. www.friendlyatheist.com/p/christian-...

If this weirdo (derogatory) was on my flight, I would be torn between theologically dismantling the very idea that she'd use a captive audience to proselytize in Jesus' name and letting her finish only to demand equal time from everyone on board for me to tell them about Ra The Sun God.

I think a Jaylen Brown/LeBron James team finding success would drive a certain kind of basketball fan absolutely mad, and I'm here for it. So as long as I'm actually bandwagoning a Philly team, I think that team should have full access to Gritty. I need the Flyers to do the Sixers a solid.

Brett Friedlander witnessing Bill Belichick reach into a box of bagels, ripping the bagel in half and putting the other half back in the box, and then raw dogging his half without any condiments is PEAK Kickoff material. It's why we're here. You can't get this in the SEC.
