I recently booked a car viewing via a dealer's website, and didn't even realise I was talking to an AI chatbot. And fair play, it was great! Apart from it booking us in to the wrong department, for the wrong vehicle, and not telling anyone we were coming, which took half a dozen people to sort out.

Why do we give any public money to wealthy people ? The idea of public funds to subsidise or tax is to support stuff that benefits or nudge away from damaging actions . We tax petrol and then money to petrol business. Take from poor give to rich

Farmers are reporting poor yields due to lack of water & rain. Winter silage is already being used to feed animals due to dead summer grass. Agrivoltaics, where solar panels are raised so that more conventional farming can continue underneath is proving a solution with surprising benefits.

Rod Liddle wrote (amongst other disgusting stuff) in a national newspaper that he wanted to put up piano wire across roads at neck height to target people cycling. That probably added and encouraged others. That was enough to make me despise him. road.cc/content/news...
