I am in the same boat on this, and I have no idea what to do, all thanks to Apple strongarming Patreon. Don't use the iOS app to subscribe to Patreons, just do it in the web browser, because Apple doesn't deserve a cut of your money for this behaviour (which is what this comes down to).

It’s been a bit since I’ve been able to play Octopath 2 but I finally finished Osvald’s opening chapter, or should I say chapters! Character work continues to be great and his areas had some amazing songs. But my route has reached a dead end so I suppose it’s time to head south next.
What in the hell. This is one of the most evil acts against literature I think I’ve ever seen outside of book burnings. Theses AI companies need ripped apart completely and utterly. I just have to hope that the places that house these books will refuse to sell to them.
