Opening the door to "well a broken clock's right twice a day!" type cranks that vehemently oppose centuries-old medical science in favor of woo, who were key in installing a *germ-theory denier* as HHS Sec, and who view huge swaths of 'undesirable' people as acceptable casualties is unacceptable.

And after a moment of consideration, a corollary: anyone in the MAHA movement *right now*, even IF they only theoretically believe in the common ground, however unlikely, has already expressed a clear willingness to cross unacceptable lines (vaccines, protecting trans people, etc.) for those ends!

Respectfully, MAHA stuff is the wedge that got RFK Jr into the position he is and is part of a much broader coalition against modern medicine and science, and engaging with it on "MAHA" terms (rather than trying to peel off who you can AWAY from it) legitimizes dangerous stuff. Please do better.

MAHA is why the CDC and HHS websites now openly support vaccine denialism. MAHA is why we have a historic number of measles cases. MAHA isn't just some people with different opinions, they are science deniers, they are public health hazards, and their movement has already killed US citizens.

Tomorrow, the House will vote on the NDAA, which includes a provision to merge parts of our military with the IDF. This amendment is an existential threat to American sovereignty and democracy. Every member of Congress must vote NO.
