I spent way too much time in Photoshop making this, but he's worth it. The Elf lives in my head rent-free. Do it for him.
Thrift find of the day : this awesome DC comics sheet from the 70s. Featuring Batman, Superman, Robin and Wonder Woman.
I think this might be the best thing ever, I'm sorry to say

Ming Doyle’s table display is a banger!
That Cap speech going around again doesn't really sit well with me because you can swap Cap with Hatemonger and it'd still fit. It doesn't state a anything beyond "stick to your opinion, no matter the opposition". I much prefer Beta Ray Bill's "let us make good" speech.
Being a weirdo comic collector means being really excited about a niche Spider-Man villain being added to my collection: Welcome home first appearance of Big Wheel. (ASM 183)
One of my favorite things about this era of X-Men : the very obvious push to have diverse teams (both having as much if not more women, as an example, but also all the diverse national backgrounds). It really makes the dynamic much more interesting in terms of personalities than the first team.

This sucked to make. Some of my favorite movies are on the cutting room floor.
Evan Von Doom@evanvondoom.bsky.social · 2mo agoInsane that Matrix is not a part of this collection yet, but that's ok, very pleasant 4 picks!
I got to draw icons Emma Frost and Miss Piggy for this variant celebrating The Muppet Show's 50th anniversary! X-MEN UNITED #7, out September 30!
Artist and author Marjane Satrapi has passed away.
Probably my all-time favorite quote about editing is, some clueless individual asked Martin Scorsese's editor Thelma Schoonmaker how such a nice lady could edit such violent movies, and she replied "Marty's movies aren't violent until I edit them."
Cannot be understated how much of an impact she had. RIP to a legend

Nicole Hollander, passed away at age 87. Safe travels, Nicole.
I've learned that when an idea pops in my head, it's sometimes more efficient to just draw it than to let it keep needling at me.
