Listening to a recent @eyepatchwolf.bsky.social video, the words "frictionless creativity does not exist" hit hard. You have to engage in the process, and sometimes it's great, sometimes it's awful, sometimes it's just *weird*. And my god it's worthwhile, whatever your creative outlet of choice.

The public was allowed to enter the whale up until a couple was found having sex inside it. Now the whale’s jaws are opened only for special occasions, such as Swedish election days.
said this before but I started reading the A&E section of the daily paper for the comics, discovered the movie and TV reviews in the same section, and grew to become a daily reader (skimmer) of the whole paper. comics and critics made me a well-rounded, well-educated kid and that path is closed.
