By all means, address problems in agriculture and oversight and all that, but don't expect it to get any MAHA/anti-vaxxers on your side. Because they will just move the goalposts. That's what conspiracy theorists do. Railing against the conspiracy is what matters, its components are incidental.

Just so everyone knows, this is a tried-and-true mainstream media tactic. For progressives/leftist candidates, every election is a “crucial test” and any loss would serve as proof to the media that the latest left-side moment is at its end. Any win, though, just means it’s time to find a new test.

I should be clear that the architecture of Bluesky makes it the social media place I most like to be. I'm not on social media to be an influencer or instigator; I want to hang out with folks and have an enjoyable time. This place delivers on that. I hope it continues to do so for a long time.

You're living in an actual crisis and all-out class warfare. There's a battle within the Democratic Party that isn't just performance but a struggle for power. The time for spectator politics is over if you want things to actually get better. It's past time to get serious about this.
