I don't think people understand how much of being trans is just slapping a smile on and going "oh no, that's okay!!!" when it clearly isn't. You don't have to collaborate in your own humiliation. I'm so very tired of seeing Trans Women held to standards of accountability and emotional regulation few others face While others get to be angry, defensive, and messy, Trans Women must remain patient and composed All while being targeted, vilified, and dehumanised on an industrial scale
It frustrates me so deeply that cis people simply cannot concieve of transphobia as something serious.

Those saying "BuT hArMs ReDuCtIoN!", "yOu ArE pLaYiNg ThE rEpUbLiCaN gAmE!", just never cared for trans rights. This is the perfect analysis for me as to why withholding your vote is important. We are not a demographic they automatically win. It would only be detrimental to us long term.
