So why do folks keep talking about expensive art? Realism? Bad tooling? Because those do exist, but are pressurized by bad creative control. The worse the creative control is, the more redoing of art, with bad tooling, and then you see inflation of working hours.

I keep seeing arguments for games being expensive due to hyper realistic expectations for art, or simply lots of art. What I don’t see is the actual most costly reason: Indecision Iteration is good, but the yearly rebuilding of entire characters, storylines, and levels, is the most expensive thing

Many factors at play here - not the least of which is higher-ups (in their infinite wisdom) not being able to commit to anything, or knowing good from bad All the while the economy at large expects the profit line go infinitely up, absolutely ignoring its undeniable tendency to do the opposite

Bay Area friends: would you consider opening your home to these two cuddly cats? A friend found them behind a gas station. Their sibling, a black cat, got adopted, but it appears no one likes orange cats. They are being kept in a bathroom for the time being and need a home.

A friend of mine found these three kittens behind a Bay Area gas station. They are tame, vaccinated, and incredibly affectionate. Unfortunately, she's unable to keep them and I'm trying to find them a home. They are at risk of going to a shelter. Bay Area people, are you open to adopting?

Three kittens in a cage. Two are orange and one is black.

Apple got a $2.2 billion tariff refund. Amazon got $600 million. Trump is sending the "refunds" to the companies, not working people. Every single cent of these refunds should go back to American consumers.

The SCREEN Act is not just another age-verification bill — it goes much further than anything passed at the state-level or in other countries. 1. The bill doesn't just target porn sites. It goes after *any* site that allows material "harmful" to minors. You'd have to scan your face to use Google.

Oh, so nuclear power plants in Europe are being shut down due lack of cooling water. The planet is seeing more sunshine and wind. If only they could somehow take the burden of electricity generation.
