It does seem odd that Epstein was able to directly suborn at least one serving government minister, while flying his private plane in and out of military bases in Britain and visiting e.g. Buckingham Palace and one of the royal family’s private retreats. Presumably nothing dodgy going on there.

The GCs are uniting in their grief over Rod Liddle's death, a man who assaulted his young pregnant girlfriend and said he couldn't be a teacher because he'd rape the kids. He was also a vicious racist, long before it was so profitable. He hated trans people, so, to these 'feminists' he's a hero.
You might note that ‘punish’ does not mean nor imply the same thing as ‘defeat’ in the context of war, and so you might then want to ask yourself what this might imply about what the US is now giving itself permission to do.

a lot of what the right does nowadays is create an emotional support system for bigots. bigotry will offend and alienate people in your life, so the right looks provides a counterweight that lavishes you with praise.
