Right, but also: Should the U.S. military be conducting EW operations in civilian airspace in bad weather? That's the crux of it. I don't think WIRED ever makes the assertion that the GPS jamming was *the* cause — just that it could have been a contributing factor, and may have been irresponsible.

The word is not used by Republicans in its literal sense - like going to the grocery store, giving money to the cashier, and being entitled to take food away as something to which you are entitled. The word, as used by the GOP, infers that it is an unjust entitlement -- a social safety net gift.

"Future research should aim to identify these exposures." In the civilian population, some occupations such as airline pilots, truck drivers, metal workers and those who work with pesticides and other toxic substances are associated with increased ALS risk, according to a 2022 Columbia University study.
