My neighbor told me progressives keep eating centrist candidates in primaries and so I asked how much his centrist PACs are spending and he said oh just a couple dozen mil every primary so I said it sounds like he's just feeding billions to broadcast TV networks and then his daughter started crying.

Convinced Kaoly Her is going ahead with this encampment sweep this morning despite almost everyone in the know telling her to delay because she thinks she’d otherwise appear politically weak. It’s awful of the mayor to put vulnerable people at greater risk just to try and save her political career.

And it's a bummer because on national stuff we all agree on 99%. But they want a new park in the middle of downtown, for instance, instead of more affordable housing. And they say they want more public housing, but where? And they are vehemently opposed to new taxes. It's nonsensical & reactionary.
Proud to support Abdul. Everyone loves him. Rahbi in Ann Arbor built a coalition of NIMBYs + "independents" (GOPs of various flavors), as well as people inspired by Bernie nationally (whom I'm not talking about) I call it the Brexit movement in Ann Arbor. Their goal is just to stop progress here.

We won huge things we've been working on for a decade. Could we have done more? Yes, Minnesota did, but they had a better governor. But there were massive wins.

Trump's own intelligence agencies concluded that Iran attacked Minnesota's critical infrastructure and Trump is saying that it's Minnesota's own fault and denying it was Iran. The federal government won't defend blue states in a literal war.
