Two-player #BBCMicro Elite has just become the first game ever to support all the buttons on twin Delta 14B joysticks So two players can dogfight in Elite without either of them needing the keyboard For some of us, this is a dream come true! And it justifies all this hardware I keep buying... 😀

Whenever I hear people say "AI makes X easier" I can't help wondering if the lack of ease is what makes achieving X worthwhile in the first place.

I'm a fairly easy going guy, but I do think some of these "conundrums" regarding modern tech like Meta's paedo-goggles could be easily solved by just banning them, outright.

I used to work for Parcelforce & had a work trip to the main processing hub. There was a huge pile of parcels in the middle of a big room, they were parcels that ended up in the hub accidentally that were for CityLink that CL refused to come get. CityLink main hub was literally next door.

what are some absurd work situations you can share? once i got called into a meeting i had nothing to do with because the consultant brought an engineer and no one in the room could understand him, so they asked me to translate. he was scouse. i translated from english to english.
