Dormant

We had to put up with years of "git gud" and "learn to code" from gamers and programmers but somehow "git gud" is not an acceptable response when sloppers insist that they can't possibly create art for their game without AI

One of the less acknowledged casualties of the Thirty Minute Description-Masquerading-As-Analysis Video Industrial Complex is that folks who get their media interpretation primarily from those videos seem to end up struggling with the idea that sometimes artists do things on purpose.

His charges, btw, were for things like “hacking and emptying ordinary people’s bank accounts,” not “tee hee uwu stealing an ad.” Blows my mind how folks online are willing to run PR for cybercriminals.

This guy is a huge POS and one of the reasons I'm buying a gd sticker printer and offering competitive pricing ASAP to the community that far undercuts Stickermule's pricing. Hit 'em where it hurts and let 'em know it was a trans person who did it to 'em ;) 🏳️‍⚧️

1. On Tuesday and with Trump's backing, Sticker Mule CEO Anthony Constantino won a competitive New York House primary—and likely a seat in Congress—after running on "aggressively detransitioning America." His extreme rhetoric must be a warning to us all.

It's almost like the lesson they took away from SL's reception was "telling a story with lingering consequences was bad" and not "completely changing pre-stabilished truths in a game with over two decades worth of lore in favor of completely new bullshit that makes no sense was bad"

I'm going to sound like a conspiracy theorist but I think since Shadowlands was received so poorly the writers have been afraid of making hard statements, from big lore things to minor gameplay aspects. I noticed it when they gave us the Murozond fake out back during DF and it still persists

Anyone else notice how Blizzard's had commitment issues since Dragonflight? No? Just me? Okay

*sigh* An "AI" does not "escape containment", as breathless news articles claim. It is *told to do something by its programmers*, then it *goes and does what it's been told*, then the corporation it belongs to releases a statement to drive fear-based engagement and media laps up the lie.

For reference: When I had my background check it was held up because I had a speeding ticket from when I went home sophomore year in college that I forgot to put on my SF-86. I got grilled about why I didn’t disclose it (they eventually believed it was mistake). The FBI as we knew it is gone.

FIRST ON CBS NEWS: A history of hiring prostitutes or stealing from work may no longer be a barrier to employment at the FBI.

I mention Jon Oliver because he made multiple episodes about Brazil, supporting the corruption claims that led to Lula's arrest and a right-wing coup in 2016 The coup government gave away our oil & resources to US companies Dilma & Lula were proven innocent Jon never once mentioned how wrong he was

I feel like placing bets on the weather just fully drops the whole “knowledge generation” facade they’ve been running with? What aggregate expertise are you possibly sampling? You’re letting people put down money on a random number generator.

If they’re going to be paying out based, in part, on personal weather stations with questionable installation, maintenance, and calibration history, then you get what you get, I guess. www.bloomberg.com/news/article...
