All of the ballot initiatives that are solely targeting trans rights are passing. MO’s anti-trans Amendment 3 is failing because it’s tied to abortion rights. But WA I-638, AZ Prop 318, CO Prop 134 & 135, and NE I-422 are all passing. And cis Democrats are taking a victory lap with pronoun jokes.

YES!! Cis people focused on pins and email signatures. Cis people declared "the trans tipping point" was here. Cis people decided Caitlyn Fucking Jenner is "queen of the trans." Cis people started the bathroom arguments, the sports arguments, the transition arguments. We're just trying to exist.

Basically none of the conversations on trans rights has happened on terms set by the trans community. Pronoun pins and email signatures were a low-effort and individual gesture, and we were mocked for what cis people preferred to focus on. Now we're being asked to drop an issue we never chose.
