She had lots and lots of help: $60M in outside spending plus the endorsement of pretty much every Democrat in Michigan. All of that help, and she still lost, yet we're constantly force-fed the lie that "she's the most electable candidate." The results say otherwise.

She'll be given a prominent role in the DNC, legacy media or something and we'll never be rid of her. That's how it goes.

I can't stand the "well can they beat Mike Rogers." Can we finish the fucking primary, please? And then get out to campaign? I hate this media-driven shit.

There are going to be narratives the AES underperformed in this race which is quite frankly insane. He massively over performed. He entered this race as a massive underdog to both McMorrow and Stevens and didn’t become the favorite until June.

Any AES supporter would have been thrilled with a win of any margin as recently as a month ago. A few late polls showing a bigger lead shouldn’t change that reality. He won against the Dem establishment and $62M of PAC money. He was barely on the radar when he entered the race.

It was a terrible time to be a young person, but at least we had this.
