I can't count how many times I cried with Outer Wilds 😭
a weird change in my 30s is that I've become a *lot* more sentimental like yeah tonight I'm gonna watch a youtuber play outer wilds for the first time and cry for a bit when the moments hit just right in sheer appreciation of art and humanity
btw I forgot to post about it but I changed my file explorer to File Pilot, crazy this is free and this good en beta

So I was exploring agentic workflows and all that stuff people shills a ton. I think agents are able to do very simple tasks pretty much fine in web dev but anything beyond that why wont you create codegen tools for yourself with your conventions and preferences instead of tons of rules and skills?
Not one day goes by without @mu.social shipping yet another kick ass feature. Readable threads? BOOM 💥 Mu: you're either using it, or you're mussing out.
You know when you find a great thread but it’s hard to read? Now with one tap (top right) in mu.social you get one uninterrupted view. Featuring @howtobuildup.bsky.social @marleenstikker.eurosky.social @robin.berjon.com cc @mu.social
Okay, the really got me back for sure
The real horror lies ahead. Here's a closer look at Year 11. 👁️
I really loved @rich-harris.dev workshop at master.dev low-key made me realize I need to put a bit more work onto accessibility and also increased my interest in atproto. Also Sveltekit 3 is looking awesome!
A new European microblogging app? Used to be the case that meant starting all over again. Not this time: I just logged in with the same @eurosky.social account I use for @bsky.app and it works. Starting to see the potential of decentralised socials.
Muve to the beat. Muve the conversation. Muve mountains. Today @eurosky.social announces mu.social, a new microblogging app to experiment with the future of social! 🪩💖
if you'd like to do something like this for yourself, let me know 🙏 I'm thinking of building an orm/cms library so you can easily use your own pds as a cms for any project
by this, I mean: I've been using a cms for a long time to store things like: ⚪ #ama questions people ask ⚪ talks I'm planning to give (or have given!) ⚪ my current location (which I track and expose publicly 👀) ...and so on 👉 but atproto means your pds = your data so … why not use it as a cms?
Last year I gave a talk about some of the testing apis I built into Lustre. If you’ve ever wished there was something better than waiting 30 minutes for playwright test to run in CI… this one’s for you 🤙 youtu.be/k2F-REDMVcM?...

I swear I want to find some time to learn Gleam just because of the vibe of Giaccomo and Hayleigh talks. Loved this one.
In a world of ever-expanding programming languages packed with features, Gleam takes a different path: it chooses to stay small, focused, and resolutely practical. Learn more about this philosophy from my talk on Gleam and the value of small ⭐️ youtu.be/E6_JqYMeNqs?...
Trying Coolify on Hetzner and loving it — learned a lot about securing a VPS and self-hosting Nixpacks sucks though and fails on SvelteKit so I used a Dockerfile and I might offload builds to GitHub to prevent CPU spikes Excited about v5 since it's using Svelte for the frontend
if anyone knows of any small startups hiring remote please send them my way.

The rainbow is here all year long, so we don't need to change the profile for June. But it is a good time to remind everyone that LGBTQIA+ rights are under attack all year long as well. And to steal @haskell.org's message: there would be no Gleam without trans people 🩵🩷🤍
I did some character design work for a fighting game currently in development called "R.U.S.H." (Rival Ultimate Steel Hand), and I was given clearance to post this. You can check out the RUSH demo here: alcratz.itch.io/rush-proto These are character sheets and thumbs for the two main characters.
I was exploring postgres LISTEN/NOTIFY and this video came at the perfect timing. This might be a naive implementation as it is my first time checking this out but it worked flawlessly with live queries and works with transactions afaik! I could use a trigger fn instead of publish(), but it works 😌
