thinking about the nightmare future where AI *is* effective for knowledge work and that *doesn't* destroy all the jobs but but *does* turn every job in to purely managerial and strategy-alignment work because implementation becomes free

Not as outwardly impressive as, say, Brutalist Jam 3, but Tremor just launched - a 'Quake like Id did' full campaign, filtering modern design through roughly the same software limits the original developers did. Some top talent from across the Quake scene involved in this one.

someone needs to invent tactically interesting and deeply complex simulated world games like dwarf fortress or stellaris but that are also not laborious to play and you can kinda just vibe i them instead
