between what i've read about the brain stem, and what i've gleaned about internal family systems/parts work therapy, i'm a little surprised plurality isn't even more common. people will just have to communicate with "using personality A with friend group B" memes in the interim

part of why the AI market is pushing "everybody is using it, it's inevitable" narrative: I've seen with people in my life the more you lean on it (and a lil bit slippery slopes towards more) it will make you worse at what you're doing until your output is as mediocre as anyone only using AI to do it

Sometimes I think of how much genius, talent, & possibility we've been robbed of in this world bc wealthy white men refuse to not be absolute ghouls to everyone. The women who lost opportunities bc they wouldn't trade their bodies for them. The of color & queer folks stifled just because. It sucks.

Somebody asked me on Reddit why people who use AI to generate Recomp projects are currently being rejected from the communities and what they can do to fix this. I might tweak parts of this to be a more general blog post at some point, but this should be of help to anyone in a similar situation.

I literally just peaked at the Scritchy Scratchy thread on the AP server and the mods are ripping someone apart for asking if gen AI is used in the AP world and other AP worlds they’re interested in playing. Jesus fucking christ something needs to change on that server.
