He/Him. I'm an engineer so math and stuff. 💖💜💙 To the world we dream about.... and the one we live in now
We’ve been talking about this for years. None of these far-right movements are organic.
"what's more virgin than a computer?" gets at so much of the right-wing's psychosexual bog that all they say and do creeps out from. they love "artificial intelligence" because it's a perpetually virginal (literal and metaphorical) woman.
Americans come up every day with new types of blasphemies not even the most radical Jacobin could have dreamed of.
Repeat after me: Yes on 40, no on 41 and 42, which are designed to cancel out 40!
Gavin Newsom backs measure to kill the billionaire tax and ban future wealth taxes Gov. Gavin Newsom isn't just fighting the billionaire tax. He's backing Prop. 42, which would ban future wealth taxes in California, too.
Was Rogan talking to Bryan Johnson and Peter Thiel again? Johnson already made it clear he intends to be immortal through AI and that he's starting a religion and Thiel thinks anyone against AI is the anti-christ.
Americans come up every day with new types of blasphemies not even the most radical Jacobin could have dreamed of.
The important takeaway here isn't just that Joe Rogan is stupid - he is - but that he parrots the opinion of whoever he last talked to. And he has been talking a lot with Peter Thiel and people in Thiel's orbit. They recognize Rogan as a useful idiot and launder ideas through his show.

We’re already helping to fund the Russian war effort and we’ve basically ended all other aid to Ukraine. Why the fuck should the Ukrainians care about our threats anymore.
US warned the Ukrainians that Washington might cut off intelligence sharing with Kyiv if it will continue strikes on Russian refineries. The Americans also informed their Ukrainian counterparts that the US was set to lift sanctions on Russian diesel and that Moscow intended to lift its export ban.
Way too many people are responding to this saying that it would involve paying musk money, when the option of seizing all his assets after prosecuting him for fraud and election interference and his many many other alleged and sometimes almost seemingly admitted crimes is like… right there.
nationalize everything Elon Musk owns.
more sebulba posting: it's really funny that sebulba, who is not at all above cheating and using illegal modifications to keep an edge, is still, in fact, incredibly fucking good at racing. like if dale earnhardt senior went 'well i might as well also add turrets to my car'
“Graphic design is my passion” is better than “I’ll let the dumb robot do what it thinks is graphic design.”
I'm at a local restaurant and I'm really glad they didn't use AI menus. I can't help but to notice the layering error on the cans of Coke.
The bad thing about wanting on-demand art that is exactly customized to what i desire is that I’m a big idiot.
Meta’s LA data center will use “more than four times the electricity used to power all of New Orleans on the hottest summer day.” !!!!!!
Meanwhile my Entergy bill is 30% higher over last year at this time www.wwltv.com/article/news...
“If you don’t like public executions just don’t watch it” says the crowd trying to ban drag shows and books
Okay so we have a number now: the Onion is officially 6 months ahead of reality.

This is Nazi rhetoric, full stop. It's not only a call to instigate a race war in the United States, but it's reminiscent of historic European justifications used to incite pogroms against Jews. People who say things like this are incredibly dangerous, as there is nothing they won't eventually do.
Trump is desperately trying to incite a riot before the election so he can declare an emergency
Musk advocating for Quebec separatism then following it up by saying Alberta & Saskatchewan should leave too gives away this is just about dissolving Canada for being lib, but I'm glad he's too dumb to realize it undermines separatists' chances by further associating them with right-wing Americanism
Le Québec devrait devenir indépendant et se séparer du Canada, selon Elon Musk. Dans une publication sur X, le patron de Tesla et de SpaceX a aussi dit que l’Alberta et la Saskatchewan devraient faire de même.
based on the description in the article, this is explicitly political violence, but i doubt, as is often when it is a democrat who is made to suffer, it will be covered by the national press with that framing, if the national press will cover it at all
Embarrassed, she initially didn’t want to report attack. Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office's investigation is ongoing. https://www.phoenixnewtimes.com/news/congressional-candidate-is-raped-while-repairing-her-campaign-signs-40705248/
A tree that took 250 years to grow getting cut down by Donald's jackbooted thugs in minutes is the type of on-the-nose symbolism that would have a writer panned by critics as a hack.
It's always some rich failing trying to pettily compensate for their own shit attempts at breaking into Hollywood even with the benefit of nepotism
Never forget that David Ellison's Skydance Media was originally created so he could be an actor. Skydance's first film was 'Flyboys' starring James Franco and... David Ellison. David and his daddy invested $60m to make Flyboys. It grossed $17m Here's a bit of David's acting:
It sucks that there’s so little WWI aviation movies that of course I saw this. But we’ll always have Wings and Young Indiana Jones and the Attack of the Hawkmen.

“Democracy has been hailed as, like, the holy grail for the last couple hundred years, but democracies are inefficient,” said the crypto billionaire. “If you get a benevolent dictator, it’s actually extremely efficient." Hmm, where have I heard this before? www.nytimes.com/2026/10/01/b...
Have you noticed, lately, or noticed people around you commenting, that there just seems to be no money anymore. There's no money for companies to make the tv shows you like, the video games you like, the local diner you like shut down, no one you know can find a job. Think about that in context of
AI is now the biggest investment in all of US history as a percentage of GDP. Datacenter construction is up, all other construction is down. "AI Is Squeezing Out the Rest of the Stock Market," reported WSJ 2 days ago. We basically bet the whole economy on the most optimistic visions panning out.
TIL that PCGamingWiki has a whole system for labeling whether games or mods have AI in them, and to what extent: www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/PCGamin...
