Excited to share our latest work ! Here, we identified the lectin CLEC7A as a sensor of aberrant IgG glycosylation, signaling through SYK to drive podocyte injury. This study is part of a broader effort in our group to understand immune-podocyte crosstalk in lupus nephritis.
New insights in lupus nephritis show abnormal IgG glycosylation triggers podocyte injury via CLEC7A-SYK signaling. Blocking this pathway preserved podocyte function, uncovering a potential novel therapeutic strategy for LN Arthritis & Rheumatology doi.org/10.1002/art....
