As a science fiction writer I really fucking resent tech bros for ruining the phrase "artificial intelligence." 80 years of it being all about cool androids and interesting computers destroyed by five years of "Spicy autocorrect making everything shittier for money." NEVER FORGIVE.

I’m so angry this happened to Tim. He also talks about how happy he is to have his very first boyfriend 🥹

Nearly 700,000 #LGBTQ adults in the U.S. have received conversion therapy at some point in their lives. Olympic medalist Tim Koleto was one of them. In a new interview for @outsports.com, the retired figure skater tells me how the memory of that experience convinced him to come out publicly.

There's rumours we might be seeing a trailer for the sequel to "THAT" wizard game this week. To all of you who bought the last one, and said "I don't support her transphobia, but the story means so much to me", you've got a second chance to take a stand and not give her money this time.

A lot of long AO3 comments I get are either "I ✨LOVE✨ your fic, but™️... [criticism on an alleged flaw in my reseach]" at chapter 40, or are uplifting and look like this person indeed read the story but are actually scam. What happened to discussing the story and screaming together in the comments?

i've read so many of the latter... the thing is, when smut writers say a "GOOD" sex scene, I think people assume we mean one where everyone is fulfilled, has great orgasms or sth, but we v much do not. a "good" sex scene is simply a subtype of action scene; it has a narrative and executes it well.

People who disrespect Romance and smut writers fail to appreciate how hard it is to write a really GOOD sex scene. Bad, depressing "literary" sex scenes are comparatively easy to write.

勝つ丼だから... >"Winner, winner, katsu-dinner," as they say... it's either that or write a shameful footnote about ~cutlets~ (hork!) and "kanji characters" (a sliver of my soul sloughs off)

a character explains that she has to give it her all today, so she ordered "cutlet/winner"don.
a second character is like, "Ah, hence katsudon. I get it."

the steaming katsudon in question appears in the art

If you’re queer and reading this, just know I and whoever put this on your timeline are rooting for you. We love and support you and your journey. Things have been difficult lately, but we are so proud of you. You matter. Your existence has touched countless people, even us strangers. Bless you 💖

Did a gesture drawing session where I just kept pausing Alysa Liu's figure skating routine and it was really fun. Would recommend. Also first time doing gesture drawing with a brush pen. Also fun! I hope the traditional art practice stuff doesn't interrupt the weird Hazbin art too much lmao

I just learned such a great word for our times. An epiphany is sudden true understanding. An *apophany* is a false understanding based on seeing a relationship in data or perception that doesn't actually exist. Pareidolia (seeing faces in things) is a subtype of apophenia.
