ok but two things: 1. the bar isn't "helpful", its "truthful"; offering a bunch of lies with a smile isn't actually the goal here 2. people are pissed because the WH press insists on defending an ally of American fascism, not because they think you were lying about her being helpful

The president is refusing to spend taxpayer money assisting Americans suffering from natural disasters solely because their states didn't vote for him. I know there are a thousand scandals at the moment, but this one deserves some more oxygen at every level.

We have snap curfews and zone policing in every liberal city in the country. We have the National Guard in DC, Memphis, and New Orleans, but once again, any discussion around this is focused on how some people did it wrong the last time there was a mass protest.

This is my frustration with the moment, because everyone wants to yell about being a fighter and unafraid to take on the right etc, while at same time ignoring if not tacitly supporting the police being able to do whatever they want to people in communities like mine.
