Ideally I don’t think politicians need to be emphasizing how masculine or feminine they are. This obsession with asserting traditional gender roles is a very clear conservative agenda and it’s a bunch of made up bullshit anyways
here is what i think: we're not consumers or spectators, we are participants with agency. you should not hope that democrats will do anything. you must work to force them to do the right thing. the odds are long, but we are far from the first americans to face long odds. we will win.

The fight at the White House makes me upset because its just an abuse of public space. But using Lincoln's memorial for a weigh-in? Its hard for me to exactly ascribe sacredness to a political space, but that memorial is as close as it gets.

"A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again." Donald Trump's instability is more clear and dangerous than ever. If the Cabinet is not willing to invoke the 25th Amendment and restore sanity, Republicans must reconvene the Congress to end this war.
Let’s be clear where I stand. 1. No war with Iran—period. 2. Trump needs to be impeached. 3. His cabinet needs to invoke the 25th Amendment. 4. Congress needs to pass a War Powers Resolution. Trump is unfit for office. Congress must reconvene to take action.
Donald Trump’s deranged threat to destroy “a whole civilization” in Iran is a threat to commit war crimes and genocide. Republicans in Congress must prevail upon VP Vance, now campaigning for Putin’s puppet Viktor Orban in Hungary, to return to the U.S. and invoke Section 4 of the 25th Amendment.
Donald Trump is deranged. He must be impeached and removed from office. Republicans who don’t stop him will have blood on their hands, and anyone who carries out an order to bomb civilian targets will be complicit in war crimes and will be held accountable.

The sitting President just called for the end of an entire civilization. It’s time to impeach him.
The President is openly threatening genocide. A crime against humanity. He must be removed from office. The 25th Amendment must be invoked. If not, Congress has to do our damn job. Speaker Johnson, call us into session. War powers & impeachment. Remove this man from office.
Completely unstable and perilous. The House must bring up impeachment articles, and the Senate needs to remove a president who wants to commit war crimes. We cannot sit idly by as Donald Trump threatens to end an entire civilization.
Congress also cannot afford to table articles of impeachment against Trump again, as it did in December. This war is another demonstration of Trump’s unconstitutional actions that put every American at risk.
There is no excuse for downplaying or eliding the insanity of Trump’s morning post. It is the most unhinged public comment by a president in US history and should be reported and remarked upon as such.
