I wish this magazine - designed to engage youngsters with film, and encourage them to write about it - got more financial support from those in the industry. It gets a little bit, but the reason it still exists is individual copy sales and subscriptions. Please support/spread the word if you can.

This is a finished page from my new comic I'm working on. Incl. here is the years long creative process w commentary. The color work is a combination of digital and traditional. The local color is a green wash in gouache. The machine is digital flats in PS. Lighting is charcoal on paper overlay'd.

40 years ago, ZZAP! 64 issue 1 hit the streets. Featuring similar in-depth editorial to CRASH and PCG, its stroke-of-genius addition was reviewers' faces/reactions on its extremely detailed reviews - essentially creating the first video game influencers decades before the term was invented!
