I'm heartbroken to see this news of Dr. Raúl Pacheco Vega's passing. He was the model of personal and scholarly generosity, and I'm grateful that his spirit will live on in those he mentored, and that his voice will live on in the resources he produced and shared, but I'm so sad that he is gone.

Something else I think people fail to realize is that Texas v. Beccera seeks to declare Section 504 unconstitutional due to spending clause regulations. Spending clause is also the mechanism behind the Civil Rights Act. This would set precedent. www.disability-rights-watch.com/2025/02/12/w...
