you have to read the elite panic over DSA as a function of the fact that basically any quasi-functional chapter of DSA can out-organize the establishment primarily because basically so much of American civil society has gone from mass-moblization to management (DSA is a return to mass mobilization)

The Jewish left is often accused by other Jews of being so focused on hating Israel that it leaves them indifferent to antisemitism. I usually think that is an unfair charge, given that Israel doesn't keep American Jews safe right now. But this conference seems determined to vindicate that charge.

A comment we received about congestion pricing. Subway riders pay $3 to go home. And that's per person, so a family of four pays $24 to ride the subway round trip. The same family in a car would pay only $9 since the congestion fee only applies in one direction.
