Although it feels like I am shouting into the void about this sometimes, I want to share some further thoughts on the “Zionism is Racism” motion which the Green Party is due to debate in the next 16 hours. Just to address various points which I think people in general should know. A thread:

Today is National Biscuit Day, and it’s about time that I populated this account with biscuit (cookie) sets from the past few years. Here are some of my favourites. 🧵 First up, a set inspired by the delicious designs of William Morris and John Henry Dearle.

A set of eight rectangular cookies arranged on a square white plate against a dark wooden background. Each cookie is inspired by a wallpaper design by Morris & Co. The patterns represented feature different floral and leaf shapes in shades of baby blue, soft pink, leafy green, mustard yellow, cream, and dark grey.

Saw this post and it reminded me of one of my last really successful threads in the other place. So, as that place dwindles and this place grows, I thought I'd repost some of my old threads from time to time. First up - identifying this British officer & discovering he's a celebrated architect.

The Royal College of Physicians was opened OTD in 1964. Designed by Denys Lasdun, it incorporates offices, libraries, lecture theatres and meeting rooms as well as featuring relics of the college's history, such as the Censors Room. Read more about the building here https://buff.ly/4f9TSPX

If you’re bored enough later today, I’m going to begin fermenting some cacao. 5-7 days of pictures that will not change, obscure temperature and microbial data, and bad jokes lie ahead. Get psyched.
