The expectation is already there to respond to parent contact quickly - look at these results - 48hr turnaround 😳 Communication between home and school is so hard. What suits one parent won’t suit another. I’m v interested to see what goes into the gov recommendations.

Also remember that the best indicator of how you’ll commute tomorrow is how you commute today. Start the term with new habits. Fresh starts are the best time to form new habits. Especially if starting at a new school. @ianwalker.bsky.social taught me that.

As our kids go #BackToSchool, never forget that we ARE the traffic that we’re afraid of. If more kids walked, biked or rode transit to school, it would erase a massive number of car trips each day, and our kids would be safer, healthier and better at school. HT Ian Lockwood. Spread the word.
