Don't let the Ai discourse discourage you aspiring writers out there. Art is valued by its rarity, and the rarest thing in the world is the talent of a single individual. What can be mass produced for cheap has little value. You are an original. A one of a kind. A bespoke wonder. Never forget that.

I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

ADHD runs through my family like a stick of rock, and diagnoses have been completely transformative for my son, my sister and my niece. C4's dirty habit of commissioning clickbait docs like this continues to cheapen their reputation further. To everyone involved in this programme - go fuck yourself.

yall (writers, researchers, etc) are using zotero, right. open-source bibliography software that saves all your sources & notes? i realize i sound like an insta influencer but it's the only thing in my life that is even slightly organized. i still have my notes from grad school!!
