I see there's someone suggesting people caught up in the AO3 takedown register the copyrights on their fanfic to protect it from scraping, etc, and, oh, boy, is this really not a great idea. People may joke but this might be where this all ends up: on the industry recreating old forms of gatekeeping so that social proof and webs of trust can be used to stem the tide of low-effort slop, effectively undoing what digital distribution did in the late 2000s and early 2010s.

Vor den Demos: "Wie schlimm werden die Krawalle?" Nach den Demos: "Es gab gar keine Krawalle." Was fehlt: Wer hat denn jetzt eigentlich für oder gegen was demonstriert? Wenn ihr Medien euch wundert, dass ihr nicht mehr relevant seid - da könnt ihr ja mal anfangen zu suchen.

Kommentare nur von Polizei und Politik, aber nicht von Demo-Teilnehmer*innen etwa dazu, warum sie dort waren.

Sie meint die Polizei, oder? Die haben nämlich mit gusto die Demos, in der Regel erfolglos, provoziert und sind später auch gerne mal rabiat an bereits aufgelöste Proteste rangegangen.
