Sad to say that the latest episode of GitS fell flat for me. The deep existential ontological mumbo jumbo only hits when it is balanced by action and light-hearted banter. Watching a ball of junk talk to a ghost for 23min just isn’t that interesting, no matter how many fancy words you throw out.

That feeling when you go check the release date for the next volume of Tower Dungeon and it turns out it came out 2 days ago and is ready for you to read just in time for the weekend ᒄ₍⁽ˆ⁰ˆ⁾₎ᒃ♪♬

Tested Switch 2 VRR Games need to be patched, only Welcome Tour supports it now It supports full LFC in 120hz mode In 60hz mode, it supports between 40-60hz like Xbox which is better than PS5's 48-60hz support Thankfully with the internal screen being VRR, most games should have it going forward

Long before we had a kid of our own, my wife and I visited the war museum in Nagasaki. A vivid memory of that visit was hearing a little boy turn to his dad and ask “dad, what happened to their eyeballs?” (Vaporized by the heat of the explosion) As a parent now, I’m not sure the right age for that

The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum in Hiroshima plans to create a new exhibit area for children in fiscal 2028, including a "selective viewing" area where they can choose not to view images deemed to be too distressing. 👉 ebx.sh/CS42Gi

I’m not sure if this will be useful to anyone, but if there are any other region-hopping folks out there, I can break down some information in this thread about how the Nintendo eShop works with games/accounts from different regions. (1/6)

Saw credits on Splatoon Raiders and did a bit of the endgame content. Overall I found the enemy design to be absolutely superb. But the bosses were disappointing, especially the last boss, which was a slog. That said, the final cutscene was fantastic (inspired by Gurren Lagann in the best way)

Splatoon Raiders has completely taken over my game time for the last two days. What I find interesting about the experience is that the second-to-second action is not necessarily perfect, but the reward loop is so expertly tuned that the temptation to just go on one more raid is hard to resist. 1/3

Games I wish I could be playing now if I had more than 2 hours a week to play games: -Ace Combat 7 (want to clear before 8) -Granblue Fantasy Relink (PS5 Pro patch!) -Mina the Hollower -Rhythm Heaven Groove (going for those Perfects) -Pragmata (got distracted half way through, but still enjoying it)

A small project I finished today was replacing my OEM control stick with a fully metal stick and bowl (Renaissance N64 Tao V4) Pricy, but the feel is absolutely perfect, and it is nice to know that it will not wear down like the OEM parts. Naturally I broke it in with some Mario 64 and F-zero X.

StarFox is a classic of the genre, and the new remake has been a nice excuse to get back into it. I had to stop this morning, however, because it was getting physically painful tapping the fire button so frequently. Frustrating that there are many free buttons, but no option for turbo shot, etc.
