I cannot stress enough how much everyone should read this book! Numeracy is as important as literacy and also it's a pretty and enjoyable source too

It's not hard to just avoid assuming the relationship of the adult+kids you encounter. Parents are always calling all the other adults in proximity to kids 'mom' and 'dad' 🙄
