Ive been nitro free since the first time they tried this, voice how you feel with your wallet people. Make them really feel that squeeze.

They make it nearly impossible to get disability benefits because they want you to give up and/or die before they pay out. They force you into legislated poverty. Treat you like a scammer. Demoralize and dehumanize you. Even IF approved you’re not given enough to survive. This is eugenics.

Nearly everyone gets turned down on their first time applying. The entire process, with appeals, can take between 1 to 3 years. And during that time you CANNOT work.

Eb@ebthen.bsky.social · 13h agoThe baseline of politics on Disabled people's civil rights and welfare in this country is and has been a mainstream foundational argument that Disabled people are treated so well that the only common sense solution is to treat us badly in order to ward off scammers.
And the thing is, personality changes due to stroke don't make someone's actual values change. They can become more difficult to deal with behaviorally but they don't suddenly shift their core beliefs as a result of brain damage from stroke.

The comments on this are so frustrating. People being quick to jump to "brain damage" when the man's political record prior to his stroke was not exactly progressive. Fetterman mostly shone as a candidate in contrast to Dr. Oz, not on his own merits.

He agreed to meet a lawmaker who drove from PA to talk about homeless and working people…and then bailed & met pro-Israel Bruce Pearl.
