Ken Martin has gotten a lot of shit since he was elected DNC chair, but I think there's a strong argument that a person with his background — born to a teen mom addict, spent his early years bouncing between shelters, surviving on SNAP and Medicare — (1/2)

I just checked and this is real. It's on Border Patrol's official Instagram (I don't see it on Facebook) and is being celebrated by Nazis on Twitter, as you can see in the screenshot. The clip is just 13 seconds long too, so it's a very intentional thing. We've got a Nazi government.

Twitter account: Uncensored @HmanQuotes1945: Official border patrol Facebook page is posting with the banned lyrics of Michael Jackson's song.
"Jew me sue me... Kick me k*ke me."

WE WON: "This case -– perhaps the most important ever to fall w/in..this district court squarely presents the issue whether non-citizens lawfully present here in US..have the same free speech rights as the rest of us. The Court answers this Constitutional question unequivocally “yes, they do.”"

John Roberts was part of the 3-judge panel presiding over Hamdan v. Rumsfeld while actively interviewing for a seat on the Supreme Court. He didn't recuse himself, didn't inform Hamdan's lawyers, and ruled in the Bush admin's favor the day before he interviewed with Bush himself.

A new book lays out how John Roberts was pitching himself to George W. Bush for a Supreme Court seat at the same time he was presiding over a controversial case involving Bush's administration. Exclusive excerpt: www.rollingstone.com/politics/pol...

In a genuine WOW moment, this administration publicly acknowledges (perhaps for the first time) that an ICE officer violated procedure and will be taken off duty and subject to an investigation. This is a step in the right direction — I just wish it wasn't only because of such an awful viral video.

Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin:
"The officer's conduct in this video is unacceptable and beneath the men and women of ICE. Our ICE law enforcement are held to the highest professional standards and this officer is being relieved of current duties as we conduct a full investigation."

I was back at 26 Federal Plaza today, where an ICE agent violently threw this bereft woman to the ground in front of her kids. She had not touched him. She did not pose any threat. She had to be taken to the hospital. (🎥: Elias Eliahu)
