Been hearing ChatGPT ads on book podcasts lately and I’m assuming that they can’t control what ads are used, but it does create a moment where I’m like… but guys… Really should be a thing where you can prohibit certain ads from being included. Because yuck.

that HWA newsletter op-ed was disgusting, juvenile, stupid, AND poorly written, but I do think we need to underline the distinction between "the organization allowed a bad essay to be published in an official communication" and "the HWA endorses this point of view"
