Creamed Corn & The Universe@ccatu-podcast.bsky.social · 3mo ago@mikeygreiff.bsky.social joins me this week to discuss the Disc Jockey from Part 8. While his mountain of horrible personal conduct could fill multiple books, one fact in particular stands out: A year ago, Musk’s actions directly led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people. He did it knowingly. And, worse — gleefully. Read more: www.theverge.com/tech/949259/...
By the way, Elon Musk didn't start Tesla. By the time he invested in Tesla, the original founders had already started building the Roadster THEY had designed. When he bought them out, he changed the history of the company to make himself a founder. I'm not joking. He's always been a fraud.
I may or may not have overbooked myself for recording throughout the next week but I'm looking forward to discussing all of these characters and for you to hear them once released too!

The first woman to ever win Best Cinematography! After 98 years! FUCKING AMAZING! (Come on, Academy, make history for Best Director too!)
Eight Oscar wins for Warner Bros. so far with several virtually guaranteed to come, continuing the best critical and financial year for a studio in decades. The only reason it's getting sold is the mountain of debt after 3 failed mergers, a problem it's solving with another debt-fueled merger.
Autumn Durald Arkapaw becomes the first woman to win the Oscar for Best Cinematography. 98 years.
