Daughter and her boyfriend are planning to move out and will need three kitchen appliances. We do not agree which is highest priority – and which they could do without for 6 months while they save up: Washing machine Dishwasher Oven Which could you do without?

In Australia on an academic exchange program, was instructed to keep the snakes away from the house by opening the back door at 6am and clapping loudly six times while yelling. I complied diligently. A week later, a neighbour informed me I'd been pranked.

Today’s good news – I fixed my vacuum robot. It was giving a water tank error, but seems it was just blocked vents. We have incredibly hard water here in Würzburg, so any machines that use water are on borrowed time.

Just found out that a lot of people don‘t know that you can use a ”C7 figure‑8 power cord“ with any Apple power adapter in case you forgot your travel adapter. Way cheaper to get one of those usually than a full travel adapter. #travelhacks
