My grandpa was born in Stanhope, New Jersey in 1912. He went back to Poland a few months later. In 1930, he returned to the United States age 17 as a US citizen. Here he is, left, liberating Europe from fascism in 1945. Birthright citizenship forever.
I am quoted in this essay which is cool! I also discussed with the author that without adequate supply growth, a demand-side intervention like this could just cause housing prices to rise further building more housing is the key to making sure demand-side programs like this actually work!
