There was a similar inverse issue in VA01 in Poquoson which understated R turnout there, so the shifts in both of those are a little artificial Here's locality level turnout in each for reference

Tom Perriello is one of the folks who voted for the ACA knowing he would likely lose his seat, I can see why folks would endorse him early.

I've been canvassing for the first time (for LA's DSA-endorsed mayoral candidate, Nithya Raman!) and I was really nervous, but it's actually quite fun and easy. Just walking around knocking on doors, giving people pamphlets, and meeting neighbors.

Next time show up with the court order and your camera rolling. Make them explain their defiance.

DoorDash seems to not care that ICE agents are shooting their workers while they on the job. Community members are the ones who have gotten Wilber medical attention in detention and legal support — without a single shred of help from this multibillion dollar corporation profiting off his labor.

Jordan my man they have multiple national guard patrols walking up and down U Street at all times. Somehow I don't think lack of law enforcement presence is the problem.

We should be back in DC today voting to lower the cost of living, expand access to healthcare, and protect our communities from AI. But Mike Johnson has canceled votes again, sending the House home instead of getting things done for hardworking Americans.

DC folks, call your CM and ask them to oppose the FILTER Act, they are voting on it today!

Thanks to the community speaking up, Wilber has left the detention center to get medical care. This is important news & a positive first step. Now, we have to make sure he fully recovers, is reunited with family, & gets to tell law enforcement the full story of how he was shot in the back by ICE.

Update on the condition of Wilber Rafael Garcés Pérez at the South Texas Ice Processing Center. He’s being taken to the hospital. He is in tremendous pain and tells us that the bullet is still inside his left side. He can’t move the left side of his body.

Trump's 2nd term should be the catalyst for DC statehood, the national guard, the kennedy center, the arch sniper tower aren't just moving white blocks around on the national mall its the forceful reshaping of a city that has no legal ability to resist

And tomorrow is a Senate fly-in day. Should be interesting.
