It is truly pathetic that so many deep cuts have been made both federally and provincially to archives, libraries, museums, and the arts in Canada, by people who do not understand the value of these institutions and programs. And especially at a time when Canadian identity is under attack.

Another successful joyful #KidicalMassHfx ride this morning! An elderly gentleman walking by us on the sidewalk said "this type of stuff is why I moved into this neighbourhood" to me while I was blocking a car lane. It's always heartwarming to see & hear curiosity from folks who watch us going by!

Stopped into the engagement session for the 'Young Future Growth Node' this afternoon. Staff said they had a lot of people come through! Anecdotal evidence from convos & the stickies on boards suggested people are generally in favour but have reasonable critiques (ex. bigger greenspace allocation)
