So, at the Worldcon this year there was a person who was going from panel to panel, bothering panelists by trying to get them to "collaborate" with them on a project and sliding the proposed project to them on a piece of paper. Folks, I cannot stress to you how obnoxious this sort of thing is.
Last week at @fantasiafestival.com, I got to dig deep into the thematic core of his latest work with auteur Nicolas Winding Refn. He was incredibly thoughtful and candid about fatherhood, the personal experiences that shaped the film, and what drove him to make #HerPrivateHell.

Synapse Films have announced via their newsletter that Kathryn Bigelow's Near Dark is getting a 4K UHD release with Dolby Vision from a recently discovered 35mm camera negative for its 40 anniversary. Will include new bonus features and a remastered Tangerine Dream CD soundtrack.
