This has been a thorn for me for years and I beg you to look into where you get things made, we know that money is a way of agreeing to the deal. What is the deal you made, is someone getting screwed? Consider the entire cost of your product, who makes it, who buys it, and how it is disposed of

reposting from tumblr but let 2026 be the year I never have to see another makeship plushie or enamel pin kickstarter from an artist I used to admire again. hold artists to higher standards & do not exploit underpaid factory workers in the global south. just because you can doesn't mean you should!

in a difficult time in my life & have been rereading warrior cats arc 2 specifically. the relationship cats have with the warrior code is fascinating - cats are very aware of how harmful its restrictions are, break it constantly in narratively correct ways but refuse to consider changing anything
