Found this too matter of fact. Can understand it, given the subject matter and the concluding remarks. It’s barely a novel, though. Nor is it a biography with the requisite citations. Rightly or wrongly, I’d have preferred some kind of provocatively playful Martin Amis approach. #booksky #recentread
