The MAX Machine (Model No. MAX-04) is an 8-bit home computer/Video game console designed & sold by Commodore International only in Japan, beginning in early 1982 & discontinued also in 1982. It has the same CPU (6510), video (VIC-II) & sound (SID) chips as the C64 but only 2k of RAM. #Commodore #C64

This is invaluable for when you want to share an X post with others who do not have an account or understandably, do not want to create an account. Screenshots aren't always sufficient. There's a number of people/orgs that I wish would either migrate here or at least create a parallel Bsky account.

Since recently acquiring a Jpn #N64, I've discovered that several Western developed titles received refinements and bug-fixes for their NTSC-J releases. Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire is among them, so I sought out a cart from Japan. If there's enough interest, I'll create a thread on the topic.
