Catering is coming to the Galway Dublin line! While this is temporary it's a great start and we're hopeful it'll be successful enough to warrant a permanent catering service.

At least two pedestrians knocked down in Cork today by motorists & a person on a bike killed by a motorist in Dublin. Yet the spinmasters in media keep spinning that bicycles & ebikes are the problem. 3 months into 2026 & already 41 people dead on the roads.

We've been hearing about plans for decades. The bus corridors are through planning, they just need funding. Why has the government neglected to provide it? Must we stay in traffic forever? www.rte.ie/news/connach...

The minister should be fighting for extra current funding at a cabinet level. These are not mutually exclusive things. We can have both.

Cases pursued against drivers are rare. knocked off my bike on my way to work,full high‑vis gear. As I lay on the road waiting for the ambulance, the driver admitted she hadn’t seen me. The Gardaí never arrived. I spent 12 weeks on crutches with soft‑tissue injuries. I could have died.

Irish and international experts have said social media platform X was generating child sexual abuse material, as well as nonconsensual "undressing" images of adults, but the National Transport Authority (NTA) is continuing to hold Irish Rail to a contractual obligation to post updates and to reply to messages on the platform formally known as Twitter. The NTA's lack of movement on the issue reflects the Irish Government's position to stay on X, but the authority did not answer questions relating to whether there has been any mandate from Governmenal level or if it would remove the contractual obligation put on Irish Rail as a public service obligation provider.
