In 2025 an Irish pedestrian, motorcyclist, cyclist or e-scooter user was killed on average every 4 days and I fear that this year will be even worse

Yet the spinmasters in media keep spinning that bicycles & ebikes are the problem. 3 months into 2026 & already 41 people dead on the roads.

I was wearing hi vis when a motorist drove into me. Passengers in the car got out to tell me the driver was really upset because she didn't see me. I didn't have much sympathy as I was picking gravel out of my hands. I was visible. She didn't look.

Irish and international experts have said social media platform X was generating child sexual abuse material, as well as nonconsensual "undressing" images of adults, but the National Transport Authority (NTA) is continuing to hold Irish Rail to a contractual obligation to post updates and to reply to messages on the platform formally known as Twitter. The NTA's lack of movement on the issue reflects the Irish Government's position to stay on X, but the authority did not answer questions relating to whether there has been any mandate from Governmenal level or if it would remove the contractual obligation put on Irish Rail as a public service obligation provider.
