... and MeTV Toons just did an on-screen tribute to Eric Bauza a second ago.

Rest in peace Eric Bauza. He brought so much to toons, his voice work was incredible and seemed like a great guy in general. So thankful Coyote vs Acme came out when it did, while it's not the last Bauza project that'll come out, he risked his relationship with WB fighting for that movie.
MeTV Toons has recently posted their story regarding Eric Bauza's sudden passing. @termiteterraceclub.bsky.social @awinger24.bsky.social #RIPEricBauza metvtoons.com/stories/rip-...
R.I.P. Eric Bauza, beloved voice actor and Looney Tunes legend - MeTV Toons
The voice actor who brought so many Looney Tunes characters to life in the modern era has died. He was 46.

@adamarnold00.bsky.social Still have a feeling this has something related to Pepé Le Pew whether it is "Bye Bye Bunny" or another adjacent #LooneyTunes project. Coyote vs. ACME may not be Eric's last time voicing Pepé (and it won't be the last Pepé cameo either.) www.instagram.com/p/DTwXvSUEXW...

@albst3r.bsky.social In light of Eric Bauza’s passing, this was the best modern iteration of Pepé Le Pew to ever come out of Warner Bros. Animation and Looney Tunes and I’m happy he was a part of it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=fWS2... #LooneyTunes #PepeLePew

Still processing how incredible Wildwood was. With that said, please agree with me on this. And yes I made it with my bare hands. :)
I already have issues w/Skydance owning WB and now i have to hear that Eric Bauza has passed away yesterday...I'm devastated he probably the closest one to Mel Blanc when he was voicing the Looney Tunes characters what a sad & heartbreaking loss to a very talented person and he was so young too.
Eric Bauza jumped between Porky and Daffy with incredible ease in “The Day the Earth Blew Up”. A major figure in voice acting and a huge loss. youtu.be/GiObF_CbeNQ

Warner Bros. TV president Channing Dungey on Eric Bauza's passing: "[He] was a unique voice talent who brought joy and laughter to millions around the world... In addition to his incredible talent, Eric was a treasured part of our animation family. Our hearts go out to his loved ones."
Thank you, Eric Bauza. You're truly a success story for generations to come. You've inspired so many people throughout your career, including me. May you rest in peace.❤️🫶🏼😇🕊💐🪦 #RIPEricBauza
I'm absolutely horrified and shocked to hear about Eric Bauza's death. He really captured the spirit of the Looney Tunes very well and I can't believe that he passed away today as young as he was. I will really miss him badly.
I’m now gonna be sitting here and hoping that Warner Bros will include a dedication to Eric Bauza with this short before sending it to theaters in less than 2 weeks. He absolutely deserves it!
I think, to me, maybe Eric Bauza’s greatest accomplishment was putting his rising career on the line to speak up about Coyote Vs Acme’s cancellation. He had founded a charity, Saturday Morning Cartoons United, and some proceeds went to the currently ailing animation industry
Virtual hugs. I'll do anything now to celebrate his legacy. Been doing this every day since I started @termiteterraceclub.bsky.social back in 2022. All voice actors deserve their moment in the spotlight and Eric Bauza was no exception. He will be dearly missed among his colleagues and fans.
I'm... I'm just numb, man. I'm not usually a profane person, but... losing Eric Bauza hurts. The universe seems uneven and unfair, you know? I'm going to watch some cartoons and just get into my creative work. Look in on your friends and tell them you love them. And keep creating, folks.

There was no better cheerleader, no better spokesman, no one who showed love for not only Looney Tunes but also Warner Bros Animation as a whole like Eric. He wasn't just a voice actor but also an animator in his own right. He loved the animation medium and the animation community loved him too.
Yeah. It really is. Eric was a once-in-a-generation talent. I was thinking of the Speechless tribute WB made after Mel died. This feels on that level because he voiced EVERYBODY. Dude was younger than I am too, so it doubly hurts. He could have voiced Looney Tunes forever. But man... yeah.
It’s like Mel Blanc dying all over again. That’s how big this loss is.
For anyone wondering, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, the cause was hypertensive cardiovascular disease, with other significant conditions being sleep apnea and Class 2 obesity. R.I.P.
Eric Bauza has passed away.
MeTV can draw big numbers if they air The Day the Earth Blew Up once the broadcast TV holdback window clears. #LooneyTunes
genuinely don't understand how anyone could dislike this style
All of this over a movie that not only has no notorious elements, but isn't even OUT YET. Let's really think about this...
