Fuck you, Sky. I had to drop the sprog off at drama, so missed the start of the race. Replay was scheduled for 12. Turned it on, advert break, then a full listing of the result as the race had been delayed. Why didn’t they have a warning for people tuning in for the replay?! ARRGGH!

WTF! I think Alexa updated overnight and I don’t like it. I have a routine to set an alarm when I’m making tea as I have a tendency to walk away and forget, only to find a cup of cold brown tea half an hour later when I want to drink it. This morning, she tried to have a fucking chat.
Tomorrow and Sunday! If you want to meet me in person for a cuddle and kiss (no tongues) and buy some art (ok tongues are negotiable)
Going to have a table at Bury Festival Of Art this weekend (Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th October) Please come along to say hello and buy my nice things!
Dr: “I’m sorry sir but you have pancreatic cancer” Me: *clutching groin* “OH NO!!!” Dr: *shakes head ‘no’* Me: *move my hands to my knee while maintaining eye contact at doctor questioningly* Dr: *making an ‘up up’ gesture with hands* “bupbupbup”
Right. It very much is worth it if you can make it, only 9 days left. Lots of screwy optics stuff and pieces that make you think. Sprog very much enjoyed it and was even prompted to go on a feminist rant.
Has anyone been to the Anish Kapoor exhibition at the Hayward? Is it worth a look? The sprog has an inset day tomorrow, so we're doing one of our London days. The exhibition is only there for another ten days, so this will be our only opportunity. It's £22 a ticket though, which feels a bit steep.

There’s only one person I’d like to see be shot on a livestream.

My wife: When you answered the door to the delivery driver… Me: Yes? Wife: did he say anything about the cat sticker on your forehead? Me: … fuck.

You’ve got to love Evri. Three days late and taken a beating.
You’d be really annoyed if you hired this guy for a wedding.
I do this every time and have done for years. The sprog went from enjoying it, to getting angry and punching me, to groaning and rolling her eyes. We're now at the stage where we try and beat each other to it. She also flips the gag when an ice-cream van goes past "Won't catch many criminals..."
The temptation to do the Morecambe and Wise ‘he won’t sell much ice cream going at that speed!’ line every time an emergency vehicle goes past with the siren on.
I'm thinking of doing an October drawing prompt thing this year, but I know Inktober is troublesome, so what others are people doing?
